Story I: “The Adventure of the Six Napoleons” Summary: Sherlock Holmes is called upon to solve a series of weird crimes wherein a person is walking around and vandalizing busts of Napoleon Bonaparte. At first sight, it looks like the act of a madman with a peculiar fixity of purpose. But Holmes then lets it be known that there is a much more rational and criminal motivation for the acts of vandalism. Finally, Holmes solves the mystery by connecting the busts with a stolen gem hidden inside one of them. The thief is caught red-handed towards the end of the tale.
